nice to meet you!
What drew me into design are the different and creative ways you can communicate visually, but also the cool CD album covers I saw at HMV stores in high school (I’m almost 30). I could say I am an artist, so I thought maybe I’ll go to school for graphic design since it’s “art”. But contrary to my belief, art and design are different. The former is for self-expression that highlights our creativity, and the latter is problem solving on how to connect with people by using creativity. One is subjective and the other is objective. There is still a good connection between the two. That’s why I can also call myself a designer.
More about me:
I enjoy a lot of different interests & hobbies. My interests are food, literature, movies, music and video games.
In a result, I love drawing, painting, crocheting, reading books & graphic novels, playing my guitar, playing video games and cooking. Sometimes I wish I could do all at once, but there’s a need for balance, especially between consuming and creating.
